Allen Bennett Russell is all of OCDlove and plays and sings all you hear herein! Allen is a multi-instrumentalist from Vancouver, WA by way of Portland, Oregon and Hollywood, CA. He is an avid reader of John Grisham-style novels and loves to cook Italian meals for his family on Wednesdays. Check out the videos Allen has done for you. Allen tries very hard to create music that is hard to pin down, though the music is often stylistically compared to that of Seal, Jamiroquai, Dave Matthews, Coldplay, smatterings of U2's sound and even George Michael! He vies to produce polished material - all the while on a completely shoe-string budget! Not an easy feat. From all this diversity in song structures, it is quite the artistic stretch, but not eclectic in the bad sense of the word - if there is one! He never has to compromise his artistic sense and that is why he loves doing what he does. 2012 should be a very interesting year for his musical project: OCDlove!

His bass skills landed him paying gigs all over the So Cal area for metal bands in the 1990s. His love of many styles of music brought him to the style he now sets out to make people love. Should sound timeless. That is the goal.

Hope you love the tracks. May the music take you on a lovely ride….

Some interesting facts about Allen...
He was born the exact same day, date and year (4 hours earlier) than Curt Cobain of Nirvana!

He was in Rolling Stone magazine 3 times and 17 other national magazines in full-page ads, over 20 years ago, for the Army's Be All You Can Be campaign, including billboards and posters. Pretty trippy! The advertisements ran for 4 years. Maybe you saw him. Maybe not. He'd rather be in Rolling Stone for his music, not by some Army ad.... There may still be time for that!....

He prefers to drink coffee from places other than corporate coffee joints.
Emerald green is his fave color
Fave TV movie is "Titanic" - There's just something great about that story....
